Thank you for checking us out! This page is for the use of owners of Jethro Tull related web sites. Here you can add your site to the "TullRing," which accomplishes two important functions. 1) It provides a surfer interested in finding Tull sites an extremely easy method of doing so. 2) It makes your site, and your work, more visible.

If you would like to add your Tull Site to the Ring, there is only one criterion: that it is primarily based on Jethro Tull and has some sort of information of interest to a Tull-oriented surfer.

More information about the TullRing and WebRings in general

If you don't find the answer to your question(s) on this page or the WebRing page, or if you have other concerns, email me.

 2. Stuff you will need on your Tull Page:

  • One of the TullRing Logos

  • The link to this page so that others can add their URL

  • Links to navigate the ring.

You will receive an email containing an HTML fragment that you can paste into your page to get something looking approximately like the following. You can of course edit it for a customized look, but you must include one of the TullRing logos and all of the links.

The TullRing info on your page should look something like this:

This Tullring site owned by Adam Bodkin.

To add your site to the ring, click here.

It doesn't have to look exactly like this, but please use the logo so that surfers will be able to find it easily, and please provide all the links. This info should be displayed on your main Tull page, the one you listed in Part 1.  If you want to see what the TullRing info on my page looks like, click here. All of this will be provided to you in the HTML fragment you will receive, except the logo which you need to download, so you don't need a lot of knowledge on HTML

Here's an alternate animated logo, created by Jan Christianson if you have the space to use it. Feel free to change the background color if you like. You can download the full collection created by Jan from here.

3. Have yourself added to the ring.

A new site owner should email Adam Bodkin  or Bob Allred after registering his/her site above and adding the HTML to his/her page, and the page will be checked for content and HTML code integrity (for the WebRing), and then added to the ring. Note that the links will not work until one of us places your site into the ring.

Bob Allred/Raynbo/Rascal spent several hours and put much work into trying to make this all work correctly from the very start. If something screws up, please take into account that he is human, and be patient with him. Thank you! Also Thanks to the creator and maintainer of the WebRing server, Sage Weil.

Adam Bodkin graciously took over administration of the TullRing when Bob became ill, and has seen it grow from 12 sites to 50+.  He has done a wonderful job, imprived the TullRing, and no doubt the ring would have died without his help.  Now he has kindly allowed me (Bob) to re-enter TullRing administration as his co-manager.  Thank you Adam!
