  • I am impressed. I have noticed that because there is a couple of Volvo repair specialists in my small hometown, there are a large number of Volvos here. I thought about starting a club, but it looks like you have beat me to the punch. I have a '90 240 and my girlfriend sold her 264 and bought my parents '89 740. So, It looks like we are going to be Volvo people for a while.

  • I've been wanting to purchase a 240 series sedan with a manual transmission. I'm trying to find a site that would tell me the years and model numbers available with manual transmissions. I've heard many rumors but can come up with nothing definite. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

  • I spent a week trying to get a 1971 volvo
1800e that has been parked for 20 years running. Finally I talked with a Volvo owner who recommended I check this site for ideas.

  • I like the website. I am Volvo enthusiastic.
    I own a 1972(142), 1973(164E), 1982 (240'2)
    and a 1992 (245)DL wagon obviously.
I am taking the opportunity to know if
I could find the rear & front lenses for
the 142 and the 164e. Could you let me
know who can I get in touch.

    Regards,
    José

  • Great site; very informative! My wife & I are considering a late 80's 240, but since we're in the Northeast, she's concerned about the rear wheel drive in the snow & I'm interested in what could break - the car, my wallet, or my heart. I'll appreciate any and all input.

  • I sure wish I could get registered or
whatever I need to do to be able to talk/
ask questions with/of the resident expert.
I have tried to register a number of times
but I do not seem to be able to make
contact. I'm not computer illiterate, just
computer irritated. Do you suppose it knows?
