What performance figures?, quarter mile, 0 to 60mph, top speed?
PS. Did you know that between 1988 and 1993 no-one died while riding in a volvo 240!

I'm wondering if anyone knows when the Volvo ad ran that featured a Volvo wagon next to a Lamborghini with a U-Haul trailer, with the caption "the concept behind our new turbo wagon" or something like that? Or does anyone how a copy of that ad could be obtained? It's a great ad!

- This is my first visit to the site. My first Volvo was a 1967 144. It was wonderful. It was so quiet that you had to blip the throttle to see if it was running. I put 90,000 miles on it and sold it for $500. less than I paid for it. (A big mistake) In '86 over the objections of my company I bought a 240, which I now have 170,000 miles. I also have a '95 960 for my wife.
