- Hi, I toured the site but didn't see how to post a tech question.
1995 940: Power Steering Fluid level:
The book says 2 things: "the fluid level should be between the MIN and MAX marks on the dipstick with a cool engine."
"check level with engine idling after driving while fluid is hot"
My question -- aren't these directions contradictory -- do I check it cold or hot?

was surprised at the amount of V sites.
I have 3 Vs currently used daily and 2 in the
project stage ," 164's ". My first V was my beloved
1967 144,"Big Red". I was T boned in Tennesses and she died
in 77 and there she is in a bone yard.I would love to have old red
back,to here the B18-B again would be a delite.
I have a electrical problem with my 84 240 gle. I am
a stubborn ponts and condesor era mechanic and am baffled by this
no start condition. Starting circuit is not functioning.
All checks on fuses,battery,cables,starters are good.

Have had a '76 245 for four years. Just bought a '79 240. The '79 I got for $A500 ($US250), because the drug-crazed ex of the owner's daughter smashed all the windows.
