I own both a '71 145S (with opt. center mounted oil pressure and voltage gauges) and a '76 245DL. Both are great cars. I found your site very interesting.

Looks like a good website. However, I couldn't figure out how to submit tech. question. I have an 86 and 88 240 that have cruises that only work part of the time. Help? Thanks

I'm still looking around, but really like the site so far. I've just purchased a 1984 Turbo Wagon (non-intercooled - bummer) and was looking for general info online. Very pleased to have found Swedishbricks.

I found your internetsite by accident, because I'm looking for information about the following:
I've seen a beautiful Volvo 245 darkblue from 1992 at a car-dealer.
My question is: On what specific things I have to pay attention.
This Volvo has 263.000 km's .
The car has been maintained very well, with the technical service report.
My main question is of the high km's is no problem for such a motor.
I've heard that Volvo 2,3 engines can make easily the dubble.
Thank you.

Just bought a 745 GLT 16valve -89 a few weeks ago. It's an automatic, red, with all electronic equiment except ABS and airbag. Previously I've had a red 142 -73 and a red 240GL sedan -83. No pic of my Volvo on my homepage yet, though. But there will be.
