- I own a 1971 P1800E and like the car very much. My major complaint is that the car is under powered. Consequently I am considering various ways to improve on the car's performance including everything available from IPD, head work, turbo charging and, yes....gulp..even an engine swap. I would like to hear from anyone who has tried or knows anything about any of these or any other performance ideas. I am particularily interested to know if there is a turbo kit available for this application.

Hello from St. Albert Alberta, 5 min. north of Edmonton. I bought a red 244 dl European model . Paid $100 cdn. The body needs a bit of work. I have 3 major snags. Power steering rack is shot, wipers are not working, and rear disks are shot along with the parking brakes. Look forword to any suggestions.- Larry
