• Ian is currently working on a bunch of tracks for a solo album. Here's Ian comments from a recent interview:

  At the moment I'm committed with Jethro Tull to doing a two-and-a-half month tour around all of Europe, which commences in the end of May and finishes in mid-August. Then I'm planning on doing a few U.S. and Canadian dates, just as a little mini-tour some time in the latter part of the year.

  Beyond that, we have to think about '98, a major summer tour in the U.S. So there will be an album release at the end of this year, or the beginning of the next, and whether that's the solo project or the Jethro Tull project remains to be seen.

• August 1996: Doane Perry's Thread Released on Laughing Gull Records and available through both M&M Music and A&A Music (See resources page for addresses).
